Summer School on Leadership Excellence
Educational Policy Studies Research Day | Saturday April 16 2016
The diverse research interests and collective talents in the Department of Educational Policy Studies community will be celebrated on Saturday, April 16, 2016. This is an annual event in the department in which we explore research, policy and practice within the area of Educational Policy Studies.
Research Day is more than a gathering of research ideas. It is an event in which faculty, staff and students in our department engage with the community of educators, educational researchers and policy makers to share their experiences and the results of the research they have undertaken as part of their work in the Department of Educational Policy Studies.
Sosanya Jones, visiting Fulbright Scholar, will give the keynote lecture, A Few Too Many: What Outliers, Small Samples, and Ambiguous Characters in Research Can Teach Us.
Doctoral students and faculty from the Indigenous Peoples Education specialization will host the opening research panel, Institutionalizing Reconciliation; Systemic Truth Mobilization & Indigenous Knowledge Transfer.
